1. About Sandhills FC
Sandhills FC, Inc. ("SFC," "we," "us," or "our") is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth soccer organization based in Pinehurst/Southern Pines, North Carolina (EIN: 41-2377754). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website at sandhillsfc.com and your participation in any SFC programs, camps, clinics, or academy sessions.
By accessing our website or registering for any SFC program, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
2. Program Participation
Participation in any SFC camp, clinic, or academy program is subject to the following:
All participants must complete registration and submit any required forms prior to attending. Registration is not confirmed until full payment has been received. SFC reserves the right to refuse or remove any participant whose behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with our values and code of conduct. Age and eligibility requirements apply to each program and are stated at the time of registration.
3. Fees & Refunds
Program fees are stated at the time of registration. All fees are due in full unless a payment plan or scholarship has been agreed upon in writing. Refund requests made more than 14 days before a program start date will receive a full refund minus any processing fees. Refund requests made within 14 days of a program start date will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. No refunds will be issued after a program has commenced. SFC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs due to weather, low enrollment, or circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a cancellation by SFC, a full refund will be issued.
4. Medical Information & Health
By registering a participant, you confirm that any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations have been disclosed to SFC at the time of registration. SFC staff are not licensed medical professionals. In the event of a medical emergency, SFC staff will contact emergency services and attempt to notify the parent or guardian on file. SFC is not liable for injuries sustained during normal participation in soccer activities where reasonable safety precautions have been observed.
5. Photo & Video Consent
By registering for any SFC program or using our website, you grant SFC permission to photograph and/or video record participants during sessions, camps, clinics, and events. This content may be used for promotional, educational, and social media purposes. If you do not consent to your child being photographed or recorded, you must notify SFC in writing at the time of registration. SFC will make reasonable efforts to honor opt-out requests.
6. Code of Conduct
All participants, parents, and guardians are expected to treat coaches, staff, fellow players, and officials with respect at all times. SFC operates a zero-tolerance policy toward bullying, harassment, discrimination, or abusive language. Violations may result in immediate removal from a program without refund.
7. Donations
All donations made to Sandhills FC, Inc. are voluntary and tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donations are processed securely through Donorbox. SFC does not guarantee specific outcomes in exchange for donations. Donation tiers and sponsor recognition details are outlined on our Support Us page and are subject to change.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on sandhillsfc.com — including text, logos, graphics, methodology materials, and coaching frameworks — is the property of Sandhills FC, Inc. and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SFC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in our programs or use of our website. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the amount paid by the individual for the relevant program or service.
10. Changes to These Terms
SFC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or participation in our programs constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
